This recruitment drive is for Primary, Middle, Secondary, TGT, PGT teachers for classes 1 to 12, including special school teachers for various classes. Interested candidates can apply online from February 10, 2024, to February 26, 2024.

Age Limit (as on 01/08/2023)

• Primary Teacher (Class 1-5): Minimum Age: 18 Years
• TGT / PGT Teacher (Class 6-12): Minimum Age: 21 Years
• Maximum Age: 37 Years for Male & 40 Years for Female

Eligibility Criteria

Primary School Teacher (Class 1-5)

• Senior Secondary with 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
• Senior Secondary with 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (NCTE Norms 2002)
• Senior Secondary with 50% marks and 4-year B.L.Ed Course
• Senior Secondary with 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (Special)
• Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
• Additional Requirement: CTET / BTET Paper I Exam Passed

Middle School Teacher (Class 6-8)

• Bachelor’s Degree with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
• Bachelor / Master’s Degree with 50% marks and B.Ed
• Bachelor’s Degree with 45% marks and B.Ed (NCTE Norms)
• Bachelor’s Degree with 50% marks and BA B.Ed or B.Sc B.Ed
• Bachelor’s Degree with 50% marks and B.Ed Special
• Master’s Degree with 55% marks and 3-year B.Ed – M.Ed Course
• Additional Requirement: CTET / BTET Paper II Exam Passed

TGT Teacher (Class 9-10)

• Bachelor / Master’s Degree in related subject with 50% marks and B.Ed
• Bachelor / Master’s Degree in related subject with 45% marks (NCTE Norms) and B.Ed
• 4-year Degree in BAEd / BScEd
• Additional Requirement: STET Paper I Exam Passed

TGT Teacher (Class 9-10 Special)

• Bachelor / Master’s Degree in related subject with 50% marks and B.Ed
• Bachelor / Master’s Degree in related subject with 45% marks (NCTE Norms) and B.Ed
• 4-year Degree in BAEd / BScEd
• Additional Requirement: STET Paper I Exam Passed

PGT Teacher (Class 11-12)

• Master’s Degree in related subject with 50% marks and B.Ed
• Master’s Degree in related subject with 45% marks (NCTE Norms) and B.Ed
• Master’s Degree in related subject with 4-year Degree in BAEd / BScEd
• Master’s Degree with 55% marks and B.Ed – M.Ed 3-year Degree
• Additional Requirement: STET Paper II Exam Passed

Important Information

• Bihar STET / CTET appearing candidates are not eligible to apply.
• BSEB Unique ID number must be used in place of Bihar STET 2023 Result Card Number.
• Central Teacher Eligibility Test CTET candidates must fill the serial number from the certificate/mark sheet.
• No need to send the application form to BPSC.
